So you’ve written an amazing blog post and at the end of article you want people to follow you for more tips and tricks. What better way to promote your Pinterest Page and gain followers of your boards than to embed them right in the post.

The best thing is, Pinterest have made it so easy to do and it doesn’t matter what platform your website is built on.

Step 1 – Grab Your Board URL

Head over to your Pinterest account and click the board that you want to promote. At the top of the screen, copy the URL (Website Address) of the Board. You’ll need this.

Step 2 – Visit Pinterest’s Widget Builder

This is where Pinterest have made it dead easy to build a great looking widget for your board. Visit the Widget Builder and paste the URL into the box.

Then you can pick the size of the widget that will look best for your blog post. If you’re unsure then “Square” is a good default to go to.

Click “Build It!” and you will see a preview of the board as it will look in your blog post.

Step 3 – Copy the Code

Now whatever platform you are building your website on i.e. WordPress, SquareSpace, Shopify etc. you will have an option to insert HTML Code. In WordPress you can click on “Text” in the top right which will switch to HTML. For Squarespace, check out this article.

Copy the code that Pinterest gives you at the bottom of the page and paste this straight into your website.
